Generally, the skin of a newborn baby or small baby is very sensitive and fragile. Their skins may be simply infected by the bacteria or many other types of infections from the soiled nappy.

Because of that, taking care of your baby's skin is very important to prevent them from getting any itchy nappy rashes or redness and blisters.

Diaper rash creams may also help with the stinging from skin irritations and itchiness that may come with a diaper rash.

It is best to change the nappy frequently to avoid a nappy rash in the first place especially if it is soiled as the urine and poop may easily irritate your baby's skin.

Besides using wet wipes, you can also wash your baby's nappy area with water to make sure the area is clean.

Do not apply random creams, lotions or talcum powder around the nappy area as it may trigger the rash or worsen it.
