Deltacarbon is used for:
- Acute poisoning (exposure to a poison on one occasion or during a short period of time)
- By preventing absorption of orally ingested poisonous substances and accelerating elimination of those substances. - Acute diarrhoea (sudden onset and lasts less than four weeks)

Side effects:
Like all medicines, Deltacarbon can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Tell your doctor if you have any of these symptoms:
- Constipation
- Pain or swelling of the stomach
- Stool turns black
